Trainees enrolled in our 24-month NZ Certificate in Electricity Supply (Line Mechanic Distribution) programme were busy in Whanganui recently. They put all their knowledge and skills which they had gained over the last 18 months into practice. Trainees were given a job pack scenario where they would lead the team to complete an aspect of a network installation or network maintenance.
Our iskills trainers observed they all demonstrated incredible growth in their physical and technical ability with a high level of team leadership. The feedback from learners was positive, everyone loved that the training was real and relevant to the life of a trainee Line Mechanic.
